I began my journey as a business owner after 15 years of working for someone else. I decided to start my own business because I thought “Why am I working so hard to make my boss all the money?” and if I work for myself I get to set my schedule. I thought I was going to make tons of money and have tons of freedom. Boy was I wrong! I ended up working all the time and not making the money I thought I would. Especially for how much I was working. Business had taken over my life and the problem was that I was a really good plumber… but I didn’t know the first thing about business. That’s when I decided I needed to become a business man.. not just a plumber. Over the next few years I embarked on a journey to become the best business man possible and apply it all to my plumbing business. And it worked! My business quickly exploded.
